Entered the U.S. Air Force in July of 1961. Served in a Tactical Control Squadron in Vietnam in 1964-1965. After training in Telephone Switching Systems, served for two years with NATO in Turkey as a Systems Maintenance Technician and instructor. Additional training in support of avionics systems led to assignment with the Strategic Air Command. Assignment to Taiwan in 1972 in support of operations in Vietnam, and later served in the U.S. and Europe maintaining and supervising fighter avionics, various ground radar systems and communications systems until retirement in 1987.
Joined Armistice Memorial Post 2195, VFW in 2007. Appointed Post Surgeon in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
