Quartermaster - Army

Enlisted in the Army in February 1967, basic training at Fort Leonard Wood then AIT at the Army Intelligence School at Fort Holabird, Maryland.  My first assignment was with Region III of the 112th Military Intelligence (MI) at Fort Bliss, then to Vietnam in June 1969 where I served with the Counter Intelligence arm of the 525th MI Group.  After returning home I finished my 4 1/2 year stint as a Special Agent - Counter Intelligence with the 109th MI Group.  I joined the VFW in Madisonville, KY in 1970, and transferred my membership to Post 2195 where I have held the offices of Jr-Vice Commander, Sr-Vice Commander and I am currently the Quartermaster and the Adjutant of District 1. All-State Quartermaster 2014, 2015, 2016, All-American Quartermaster 2016.
